Call for Papers - ITSF 2010
The International Telecom Sync Forum and Avren Events invite you to put forward a paper synopsis for inclusion in the 8th International Time & Synchronisation in Telecoms symposium taking place in Dublin, Ireland on 2nd - 4th November 2010.
With over 130 delegates attending last year’s symposium, ranging from wired and wireline operators to government agencies to major OEMs and system/subsystem vendors, this year’s conference will be an excellent opportunity for you to share your requirements, solutions, business models, standards updates, etc with the global timing community.
The symposium will include keynote speakers from leading wireless and wireline operators looking at the growing importance and cost sensitivity of timing in ultra high speed wired and wireless telecoms.
The 3 day symposium is divided up into 5 main sessions covering:-
- Needs for Frequency, Phase & Time, Requirements & Vulnerabilities
- Understanding the Challenge of Delivering Frequency, Phase & Time. Characterising the impact of PDV & Suitability of Metrics
- Frequency, Phase & Time Testing Procedures, Test Cases & Results
- Frequency, Phase & Time, Generation & Distribution
- Challenges & Solutions for Access Technologies GPON, DSL, Microwave Links etc

You are encouraged to submit a presentation proposal for one or more of these sessions using the on-line submission form. This will then be reviewed by the advisory committee.
The deadline for entries is 30th April 2010.
